Celebrated stories of the god of magic and knowledge are depicted on these plates. Enwrapped in his shadowy, hooded cloak, he appears time and again: changing an ignorant schoolmaster who challenged his wisdom into a slug; procuring a scale of the World Dragon at great peril, merely to study it; conveying the mysteries of writing to the people of Elanthia. The final plate displays his companion, the jet black wolf, Kleinzack, grinning directly at you as though in amusement at some secret thought.
