The floor-length blue robe is fashioned from fine, featherweight silk which is clasped lightly along the front with small lapis lazuli pins framed by silver knotwork settings. Long, loose sleeves flow down from each shoulder to fall in dagged folds from each elbow, where the cuff is turned back to reveal elaborately embroidered chains of silvery knotwork beneath.
