The floor-length obsidian robe is fashioned from fine, featherweight silk which is clasped lightly along the front with small ebony pins framed by golden knotwork settings. Long, loose sleeves flow down from each shoulder to fall in dagged folds from each elbow, where the cuff is turned back to reveal elaborately embroidered chains of golden knotwork beneath.
