I've gone through all the descriptor lists and such. Why can't I find the companion I want?

All climates and terrains are not created equal. Some are common, such as temperate and deciduous. Some are extremely rare, such as arid, temperate and subterranean. Some simply don't go together, such as temperate/glacial.

I'm a gnome/halfling/dwarf. Can I ride my companion?

Short answer: No.

Does CMAN SIDEBYSIDE work with my companion?

Another short answer: No.

I'm a fletcher. If I get an avian companion, can I use his or her feathers to fletch my arrows?

Unfortunately, avian companions don't molt, like wizard familiars do. The only way you'll be able to fletch arrows with your companion's feathers is to find a merchant and see if you can get some 'made' for you.

I have a companion already, but I'd rather have something else now. Is there a way to break the companion bond so I can get a new one?

At this time, there is no way to break a companion bond and get a new one. GM Mestys is contemplating a process to do this, but it will likely be long, involved, painful, and a long time in coming.
