The Cursed Ship
End-of-Quest Treasures

Notes:

I have the watersilk and pearls set and the gem set, both of which I need go to through still. I was present for the testing of the party pack. Everything else was donated material, so please keep that in mind when reading notes.

The mechanics in the treasure room are *not* like merchants, i.e. I can't appraise anything inside the packs. If you choose the packs, please either send me a list of certain appraisals (find a trader or someone with high enough skill) or contact me so I can appraise them.

All of the information I have as of now (3:50 pm CST, Friday, August 5th) is posted. If it's not here, I don't have/know anything about it.

I am looking for logs of the quest, especially information on the end prizes and incidental treasure. Please include look/read/appraisal on incidentals whenever possible. As always, anything sent to me stays with me.

[Inside the Vault]
Shelves line the walls, all holding treasures of various shapes and sizes. Bright lanterns hang from the ceiling overhead, swaying gently from the ocean waves crashing against the dock's pilings below. Old navigational charts hang between the shelves, showing the paths of shipping lanes across the Reshal Sea. You also see a shimmering arch leading to the docks in the Crossing and a shimmering portal leading to the Drogor's Bite office in Ratha.
Obvious exits: none.

On the shelves you see a light repeating crossbow with a silver-trimmed oak stock, an aged leather satchel embellished with the faded crest of the Warrior Mage Guild, a heavy leather haversack clasped with a silver skull, a colorful satchel draped with a rainbow of curling ribbons, a battered leather mining pack, a brushed platinum and gemstone ring bearing the crest of the Moon Mage Guild, a bejeweled crystal staff topped by a jagged zengalmi stone, a ragged-sailed red toy schooner, an onyx ring, a ruby-inlaid ebony skull hung from a heavy iron chain, a glistening black armored pack with silver rivet fastenings, a dusky-blue basilisk hide satchel decorated with ur hhrki'izh claws along the flap, a black spidersilk haversack decorated with silvery shooting stars, a sea gull grey haversack with waxed leather stitching, a suede haversack with crisscrossing rawhide stitches, a rugged haversack with a twisted iron clasp, a twilight blue watersilk shoulder bag with pearl-beaded silver ties, a soft velvet haversack encased by a net of cambrinth beads, a circle of obsidian, a toy slot machine bank made from precious metals, an oak herbalist's case burned with the image of a compass, a smooth animite gem case set with star shaped diamonds, a red leather dispatch case, a traveler's knapsack, a carved ebony music box, a midnight blue watersilk sack dotted with tiny silver star-shaped buttons and a bloodwood double-stringed crossbow carved to resemble a dragon.

I do not know if the staff accepts wands, but I doubt it.

a ragged-sailed red toy schooner
Tattered sails hang from the spars atop the masts of a ragged-sailed red toy schooner. An intricate web of lines run from railing to masthead, holding the sails in place. Tiny mechanical sailors climb the masts and work on the deck, each one brightly painted with lifelike features.

The sails are lowered, as if to catch the wind at any moment. An anchor dangles at the ship's stern, currently lowered. At the bow of the schooner, a miniature mangonel is fastened to the deck, its basket swaying at the end of the beam, ready to be loaded.

What I've been told (verbs and messaging unknown):

Changes into different types of boats
Contains unknown number of charges of Zephyr

The circumference of the orb is etched with the scene of a peaceful harbor. Tiny docks and boat slips curve around half of the orb, giving the appearance of a cove sheltered by carved mountains. Faintly imaged on the horizon, the front of a large pirate ship nosing into the harbor seems only an odd shadow in certain lighting.

a flannel-lined canvas foraging apron with braided rope ties
The outside of the apron is made of navy blue canvas, which helps to hide grass and other stains. Soft flannel in a white and blue plaid lines the inside of the apron, cushioning the contents during transport. Long, thin lines of rope, braided tightly and bleached nearly white, allow the apron to wrap snugly around the wearer's mid-section.

a traveler's knapsack

a brown felt hat with narrow ties
Designed to cover the head and ears, this hat ties under the chin which enables it to remain securely on in a storm or a strong wind.

a pair of dipped-side brown suede boots
Snuggly fitted to the foot, these boots have been fashioned with v notches on both sides of the ankles which causes them to slip off easily -- especially when worn in muck.

a shawl-collared jute cloak with hide ties
Jute's slight satin sheen dresses up this otherwise ordinary brownish cloak. While the substantial shawl collar provides extra coverage for the shoulders, it might sometimes be used as a loose covering for the head.

a pair of navy blue cotton work trousers with riveted seams
Sturdy cotton threads have been tightly woven to create these comfortable work pants. Oddly, this fabric is dark blue on the outside and all the white threads appear to be on the inside of this fabric. Small copper rivets firmly reinforce the stress points.

a long-sleeve cotton shirt with hide laces at the neck and cuffs
Light-tan hide laces contrast with the creamy cotton fabric of this serviceable shirt that has a v-neckline and tapered sleeves.

A miniature ship, crafted with the exquisite detail only a master of carving could obtain, sits on a blued steel platform in the middle of the box. The steel itself has been forged in a way to suggest waves beneath the lone ship. Thick, midnight blue velvet lines the interior of the box, representing the untold depths of the ocean.

an etched platinum box inlaid with oddly shaped gems
Spiraling, vine-like etching curls around the surface of the box leading to a handle tipped with a polished amethyst marble on one side. Each gem inlaid in the maze of etching has been carved to resemble an eerily distorted skull.

You turn the handle on the side of your platinum box.

It emits a soft, metallic click just before the top jerks violently open!

********** Boo! **********

A ruby-eyed skeleton on a spring jumps up, bobbing crazily in front of you!

The yoyo teaches perception and tests have shown it teaches well at high levels too.

a bleached white pinata shaped like a giant skull

a painted wooden toy chest
Bright colors depict the image of a forest meadow, the picture framed by skillfully painted tree branches. Tiny spots of red and yellow along the meadow suggest wildflowers. In the far right corner, inquisitive eyes topped by curly brown ringlets and a crown of red flowers peep out from behind a mound of leaves.

The toy chest contains 3 marionettes:

1. a snowy-white avenger marionette
Pale in hair and skin, the thin avenger carries a blunted dagger, shaped in imitation of the real one carried by alfar avengers. Black marbles mimic the unblinking stare. Given a free hand, you think you can PUSH, PULL, TURN, POKE, TAP, RUB, CLEAN, POINT, WAVE, BREAK or SCREAM at the little puppet to make it perform.

2. a tiny woodwisp marionette
Small and thin, the woodwisp is garbed in clothes that match the colors of autumn, and a twisted vine crowns her cheerful face. Given a free hand, you think you can PUSH, PULL, TURN, POKE, TAP, RUB, CLEAN, POINT, WAVE, BREAK or SCREAM at the little puppet to make it perform.

3. a friendly dirnel marionette
A long ponytail trails behind the puppet, swaying with the slightest movement. Given a free hand, you think you can PUSH, PULL, TURN, POKE, TAP, RUB, CLEAN, POINT, WAVE, BREAK or SCREAM at the little puppet to make it perform.
